It wasn’t that he was tired.  It wasn’t that the newfound fun activities done in the dark, in the middle of the night, behind a closed door, and under the covers with his most favorite person in the whole wide world weren’t letting him get enough sleep.  It was just that Takashi was so comfy to lie on.  His chest was muscular and soft and warm.  He loved getting hugs from Takashi, because then he got to be pressed against that comfortable, warm chest.

And, at one point that Hunny couldn’t really remember, naps became a natural thing at the Host Club.  One day, in the middle of the afternoon, after Takashi came back from Kendo, Hunny had skipped away from his customers after excusing himself and he had jumped into Takashi’s waiting arms.  He had told Takashi about his day and the newest type of cake, and then he yawned and said he was sleepy.  So then Takashi let Hunny lie on top of him on the couch in the corner and they had taken a nap together.  It had just been an odd ritual that, strangely enough, kept repeating itself over and over again.  And then one day it was normal.

‘If you go to the Host Club at four-thirty, Mori and Hunny will be taking a nap on the couch near the piano.’

It became part of the club normalcy.  If there was really any normalcy in the club to begin with.

Hunny liked taking naps on top of Takashi on that couch because when they woke up together, staring into each others’ eyes like a sappy romantic movie, they usually found that they had the same dream.  It was nice, to share a dream, because it felt like you never really left Takashi’s strong, gentle, loving embrace.

Hunny liked falling asleep with Takashi because it felt like they went on a wonderful adventure in the dream world together.
